Leadership Training

Influencing and behavioural change are the power skills of successful leadership teams. Develop this skill as a team in this 5-month programme.

When leadership needs to influence more than just KPIs

“We want to lead change — but behaviour doesn’t shift.”

Strategy, structures and tools are in place, but real transformation still stalls. You don’t need more frameworks — you need to understand how to influence mindset, motivation and culture.

“Our leadership team is smart — but we’re not aligned.”

You’re navigating complexity, conflict and high expectations. But without shared habits, language, and behavioural tools, trust and momentum don’t grow. Influence starts inside the team.

“We’re good at goals — but not at habits.”

You set bold ambitions, but daily leadership behaviours often fall back to old patterns. Long-term transformation needs new rituals, new framing, and deliberate practice in context.

Behavioural Design is about designing choices. Understanding how people make decisions and how you can influence their behaviour is the missing layer to increase the success of your products, services, campaigns, or policies

The 6 Skills of Influential Leaders

What You Will Gain

Making more Rational Decisions

Skill: Making objective and well-founded decisions under pressure: Learn how to recognise and overcome decision biases as a group to make high-stakes decisions rationally, despite tunnel vision, status anxiety, and conflict avoidance.

Empathetic Communication

Skill: Addressing the needs and concerns of team members to get them on board with change. Understand the unconscious thought processes of team members, enabling you to respond more effectively to their concerns, viewing resistance to change as a crucial part of the change strategy.

Developing and Rewarding the Team

Skill: Encouraging the growth and motivation of team members. Invest in your team’s development through personalised development plans and reward systems based on behavioural psychology to recognise and promote performance.

Designing a High-Performance Culture

Skill: Creating a culture that supports and promotes high performance. Develop an environment where core values are genuinely translated into behaviour. Establish behavioural routines that ensure clear core values, performance indicators are measurable, and continuous feedback is provided to motivate and support team members.

Navigating Conflict and Crisis

Skill: Effectively resolving conflicts and managing crisis situations. Train leaders and team members in conflict resolution and crisis management to maintain team cohesion and productivity during challenging times by applying proven framing techniques.

Managing Key Stakeholders

Skill: Managing relationships and reputation with external stakeholders. Learn how to build support and trust both within and outside the organisation, handle activist stakeholders, and navigate challenging interviews.

The SUE Learning Experience

Learn

In sharp, energising masterclasses, you’ll gain the key foundations of behavioural psychology and influence. You’ll get ready-to-use models, insights, and tools to better understand and guide behaviour.

Internalise

After the training, you become a member of the exclusive SUE | Behavioural Design Club. Through webinars, Q&As, hackathons and networking events, you keep learning, get support applying the method, and grow alongside a like-minded community.

Try

Each piece of theory is immediately followed by a hands-on work session. You’ll apply what you’ve learned to a real behavioural challenge using practical templates and cheat cards you can keep using after the training.

Optimise

You’ll develop and test different approaches, sharpen your ideas, and get expert feedback. This is where you turn theory into interventions that actually work in practice.
